AH! The year was 1995, video games were going through yet another platfomr transition and Sega was unleashing the Saturn into the market. This was a system I really loved and still play often. More than many systems in my 37 system collection! Witness the awesome power of the Silver Head!

Only 4 years before DarkBASIC came out- which changed the face of DIY games forever.

i wander what the bald man thinks of Playstation3 and xbox360...lol he was left BEHIIIIIIND

I agree the 360 to me is Dreamcast 2...I even named my harddrive that (in the options) when I bought at launch after playing for a while. Now if only Microsoft would/could put some Dreamcast games on XBL Arcade that would be incredible even if I already own them for DC I'd STILL buy them :) Kei

sega dropped most of the dreamcast fanchises. Seamen, JetSetRadio, ChuChuRocket, Shenmue3, Skies of Acardia. I know there is JetSetRadio Future and Seamen2 but today Sega fuck anything up. The new GoldenAxe and Sonic for Example. This is not the same company since the Dreamcast! Ceep your Dreamcast, notice "last Hope" and "Wind & Water".

wow, the shit we thought was cool in 1995. the androgynous silver man-beast, the 90's neo-hippie slacker dude, the "ironic" easy-listening music, etc. etc. i hope none of this shit ever becomes chic again

I thought it was pretty cool.

The Saturn was a mess of chips thrown together. It could never handle properly-done 3D polygon graphics, and it took the world's best game programmers to ring out decent conversions of their arcade games. If only Sega had contracted Lockheed Martin to handle the 3D graphics side of things, they would've had a system developers loved, and more 3D games of higher quality could've been made. Lockheed was the provider of 3D tech for Sega's arcade boards, it's a shame they didn't work on the console
