I play drums and I don't agree. I think Keith Moon is one of the greatest if not the greatest rock drummers. He is the best at what he does,I think if you look at difficult techniques that some proffesionial jazz drummer is the best,Buddy Rich for example. but when it comes to rock, Keith is one of the best.

Fair enough u r entilted 2 ur opionon on moon, an there r plenty of people who rate him, but i just think the rock star persona that he played and his whacky personality overshadowed his erratic poor playing. When u hear a who live album he is all over the place an some of his fills are quite frankly crap.The band always took their time off entwhistle not moon,again just my opionion but most overated drummer in rock history.

The reason they got rid of jones was a personel thing between him and daltry, who didnt like his uppeclass lifestyle, nothing 2 do with his drumming performance.
