Usually it works best if the fibroid is 8cm or less. However, often what is thought to be one large fibroid can be a few smaller ones. It's best to do a screening MRI at the Sightline MRI to determine if you are a candidate. You may require two treatments or Lupron might shrink the fibroid to offer better results.
