I didn't watch the whole video before posting the first comment. That grinder is connected to some kind of extruder. We grind ours and reuse it or we "densify" it. Turning it into hard blocks of EPS. It's used for different kinds of things after that, like making milk cartons. It's all basically plastic. I've never seen this extruder they have and it's stupid. And our grinders are bigger and better, no need for the conveyor belt either. Stupid mexicans.

I exapand and mold styrofoam for a living. How is it reused? Simple. It's remolded together by steam. That's the original way of making styrofoam from the start. When you grind it up, you just break it down to small pieces and refuse it together. Fusion from steam.

Turds are better for the environment, but have little use in commerce.

Wow this is neat! Pretty cool how it just eats all the bulky styrofoam very easily :D Wish more cities offered styrofoam recycling and recycling for plastics #3-7. I'm pretty sure LA does though, which is definitely a good start!

Interesting. I am currently conducting an experiment to break down Styrofoam into a very sticky substance, which will be able to be used as superglue. Thanks for the video!
