My self, my wife, and nearly all of our friends used abstinence as a way to accomplish goals, be free to do what we wanted whenever, and learn respect for our future spouses. I have met tons of people who DO NOT regret choosing to avoid sex for a time, there is so much more to abstinence than some people choose to believe. To each his own...what ever decisions we make let us be at peace with them, no? You all, enjoy your life, and may you be successful! :)

Stats have shown that people who practiced abstinence were way less likely to cheat once in a committed relationship because they learned how to self control by avoiding sex in previous situations/relationships, just a thought, take it or leave it.
