Whether rational or irrational the analysis should bear in mind the question asked. Sometimes the reasons for something can be very complex-so much so that they look like irrational processes- these should be open to not just skeptical but impartial enquiry-and from what Randi has said about offering that 1000000 dollar prize-based upon a test given by an impartial party- he supports this- not an end to irrationality, but for such processes to be open to enquiry and to provide evidence

He's definitely hit the nail about American science TV programs deteriorating... just look at the Discovery channel. It used to be my favorite channel, now it barely deals with science.

Yeah, it seems, but the "utilizing dead bodies" relates to the phisical process of disposing the corpes not the traditions attached to it.
