i think a lot of ppl my age would agree that they would like 2 live life 4 themselves tho...i get that every1 can do watever they want...i just think that there's a common theme goin on...ive gone thru a diff. set of circumstances than my elders and so has every1 else even if the circumstances r similar its impossible 2 form a robot that does watever its told that has a heart and a brain of its own...i even appreciate advice and everything and it shapes me but as i said u can only do so much

Yeah well marriage is not the b all and end all, of course its going 2 have its flaus but i beleive if u take the time to find 'the 1' and marry them 4 da right reasons then u should compliment each other. 1 of my favourite sayings is 'u dnt marry the person u can live with, u marry the person u cant live without'!

Fair enough i dnt doubt u may be, but beleive it or not im quite a successful person in many feilds also and i am quite adimant at sticking up 4 wat i beleive in. I dnt particualarly like it when males in particular degrade the value of selebacy (or however u spell da dam thing)

i dont quite understand wat u're saying about celibacy-isnt celibacy when some1 doesnt get married or engage in sexual activity at all...as in never ever...like a catholic preist?...i didn't know there was any value 2 never getting married and never having sex...it doesnt really make sense here in this situation...r u a nun or something...or is ur mom a nun...who is celibate unless theyre in religious work?...i dont think ive ever met a celibate except my local preists.

i just googled celibacy and i think i get it now...apparently celibacy is commonly used as a synonym 4 abstinence when there's actually a difference...i had never heard of that b4...i suppose u meant it in the sence of not having sex until marriage but i found that it really refers 2 (as i said b4) vowing 2 not get married ever and 2 not have sex ever...my b-i wasnt up with the new-age lingo...ironically

i think i will try 2 have relationships that last a while b4 sex, but marriage a step u cant take w/o seeing all the factors...sex is still important and i dont think i could dream about getting married b4 seeing if the chemistry is right...at the same time i can only imagine the honeymoon sex if i waited...if the chemistry was right and it probably would if the relationship was good it would b special...if i had already done it the honeymoon would b like same old same old...
bill1240 (Friday 30th of May 2008 01:29:33 PM)
in that sense with the honeymoon thing i can c where ur coming from...but at the same time the 1st time with some1 would still b special..it just wouldnt b on the honeymoon...and then that brings up the point of meaningless sex...is that so bad? i dont think giving up ur virginity would b the thing 2 focus on either...it shouldnt b a matter of how special was ur 1st time but instead how special was ur 1st time with ur sig. other
