I don't think it is real.... I can't understand where his force comes from. From his waist or hip ("Kua")? I don't think so...

I can assure people doubting this that this IS real. I have been privaledged enough to push hands with people of great ability, like this guy. Its simple physics of using even the slightest overbalance or unrootedness of an attacker and maniuplating or adding to it at exactly the right angle and exactly the right force. You can send people meters with just the flick of a wrist at the right point, that is what practical internal martial arts are all about.

A classic video for sure! It would have been an honor to have studied with Liang. What a great show of push hands...thanks for taking the time to post. It is appreciated.

thanks for posting. to those of you saying "fake", you don't understand what is going on. they are playing a game, but the skill is real, and that skill transfers very well to fighting. Ma was the real deal, the guy studied taiji his whole life, and he got very good. consider showing some respect for what you don't understand...

i've probably read as much as you, and nothing corroborates the help of devoted students to give credit to fake fa jing
