The Frankl´s criticisms to behaviorism to be based on his superficial understanding of scientific ideas. That authority to judge the science may have a fan believer in God? (jajaja), and was not a psychologist. He is full of prejudices and dogmatic thoughts on the vision of the human being.

Some say that Behaviorism and particularly Behavior therapy are false because they only work within the Behaviorist's control. That cognitive behavior therapy may have taken it's place. Now we have talk therapy, does behaviorism still stand up today?

I dont agree with this man's account of what Skinner was saying about freedom and dignity. Skinner broke down what he meant about the terms very well and in very human terms. He did not reduce anything to animals or something that was subhuman and try to explain them as such. This may be easy to misconstrue because of the bulk of his work but that book and its content is very logically sound and does not circumvent very real human tendencies by reducing them to animals. WE ARE ANIMALS

We are animals. Our behavior is shaped by natural selection. Consequences. It results from an evolutionary history, environmental history and the current situation. Too bad people are conditioned to reject Skinner. People can't handle the truth. People couldn't handle that the earth was a sphere or that Earth was not the center of the universe. Too bad. Life is better with science and will be better once we move beyond Freedom and Dignity.

Excellent comment. I would like to add that non falsifiable assumptions about "feelings" and many other cognitive assumptions have lead man astray from true understanding. We are in fact animals but as long as people believe that we are "divine", "exceptional" as well as many other mystical attributes we give to ourselves, we will never truly understand the science of human behavior. Skinner was an absolute genius in his method and his philosophy.
