To be honest, I think after Season 1 it truly declined. The whole thing going on with U-turn was half a waste of time. In Season 1, it was a show about the community and her family with the side story of her drug dealing business-- which was great. It was a life drama with a twist. Now it's just one threatening situation after another. You can tell when she talks about her character that she's not incredibly happy with the way it's going.

I agree, I thought most of Season 2 was great too but Season 1 was by far the best.

Agreed 100%.

bull shit. 100%. sure, it's one threatening situation after another, that's the whole point of it! how far can u go doing the same thing? also, it's not a 9 to 5, is it? u can't have a normal life, especially being a soccer mom and having your accountant as your biggest customer. it's not real life, it's tv. this show pwns all other shows out there.

man it so soul crushing whats become of this once extremely original and hilarious show. where as it once started flirting with product placement and cookie-cutter stereotypes, it has now dove head on into mediocrity. Season 4 has truly been the death of this show. i fell in love with seasons 1 through 3, but i just got done watching episode 10 of season 4 and it just feels like an old friend died. Mary louise parker is so much more talented than the crap they have her dealing with this season.
