Angela Lansbury really needs to work on her death scream.
The part where Sweeney mourns his wife and is then killed by Toby is a lot more dramatic in the play than in the movie.

The end where Toby just comes up and Sweeney is holding his dead wife is much more dramatic in the movie. And where Ms. Lovett dies in the fire is best in the movie cuz the flames look so real and you see how she burns. With all that clothing and hair that's how it would really happen.

So wait in the play he does not see him kill Mrs. Lovette but he starts to think he either killed her with the knife or he sings that song about baking and he realizes what Sweeney did?I am very confused about this.
