Still hilarious!! These guys were indeed controversial but also promoted a lot of IMPORTANT musical groups on their show, including The Who (legendary appearance, search for it here! MUST-SEE), The Doors, Jefferson Airplane and many others. I remember seeing some of these (esp. The Who) when I was a kid, my family always tuned in to their show. Great comedy duo, so glad to see them alive, well, and still so funny after all these years. :)

Believe it or not the Smothers Brothers were more influential in the Civil Rights movement that many of the black entertainers at the time.
