Well.. in those days it was the custom that the host country organised the broadcasts but in conjunction with the participating countries- if I am correct. So- indeed it was "Babylon" but I must say that I find it more charming then the modern style of broadcasting and presenting Eurovision- not to mention the quality of the music.
