I think you're missing the point. He's getting back to his punk/rock roots. The vocals in these types of songs aren't supposed to sound polished.

Mad respect to Graham, but anyone else notice how his solo stuff is less experimental and more contemporary compared his Blur work? I mean, there's nothing wrong with fast distorted guitars but come on.. it's been done many times before -- though I'm not saying it's a bad thing and he shouldn't! :\

Graham = Great. Damon = Great. Graham + Damon = Blue. Therefore Blur = Great Simple maths!

if you expect blur's sound out of him.. why are you even listening to it, just keep listen to blur's song.. i listen to both damon and graham and rethink about them as a group and solo. i have to admit blur is just so great!! but they are both just too good to be in one same group forever..

Yes guys we all know Graham was the underestimated mastermind behind Blur, and definately he has good songs. But Damon by himself ain't that bad either. I listen to both even though the Blur sound is long gone. So what they still make great music.
