Great review, I'll have to check out your others. Nice to see a real knife enthusiast just going over some cool knives.

No rpoblem, BTW Im sorry if I soudned negative in any way, I cna see why you thought it might have been like that I just wanted to assure you its not an issue...

those holes our tiger grass would affect the blade in a fight

I cant see how? its just the finish texture...

It would make more friction going in there for making it worse i may be good for cutting open a letter or something like that but as for defense that would make a lot of friction there for slowing the blade on the way in

if you slashed soemone with this knife, the texture woudltn effect the friction at all, overall its a very thin stock to begin with, the texure on it is also smooth as well, its not an issue what so ever with this specific knife...

hey cutlerylover: i just picked up an ecos knife fixed blade based largely on your recommendation and man...what a knife. it's not a kiridashi, its a 3.5" wharncliffe fixed but i was wondering if you've tried your tek-lok with your kiridashi. the holes mr. aube puts in the sheath seem a little irregular and i was wondering if it would work with a tek-lok at all, i'm sure they're different sizes but the hole placement looks the same on your sheath as it does on mine. thanks in advance!

the tek-lok's specs can be foudn online, if you find out the distance between holes you cna measure your specific sheath holes to see if they woudl match up properly...so far I ahve not used a tek-lok on mine, as the tek-lock is a bit bulky for this small thin profile blade...I normally just use them if I want to carry a larger fixed blade...
