what are you talking about they have that new guts show.nick is just trying to appeal to a new generation and that generation just HAPPENS to suck.i mean so far no one has acually tried to make a show like they used to back then for kids these days,if they did then we could only hope it would be remotely appealing to today's generation

I agree with you. I miss classic nickeoldoen, and i remember watching it when i was a little girl. I MISS IT SO MUCH!!! The only thing i would wish for nick to keep is Spongebob Squarepants, i remember when that came out, its a classic. I still love it today in highschool. Drake and josh is also very funny, but deffinitly not as good as spongebob.

do you not realize that this generation of children are not even close to the ideals and values that made Nick popular a decade ago??? things have changed. Unless its violent and somewhat sexual, there is no way that nick can sustain a profit like it did in the past. Things have changed. Kids would not watch "Hey dude" or Clarissa explains it all, these shows do not coincide with what kids are facing today. This era is done. We can just become nostalgic, but kids are way to corrupted today.

i don't think things were much different for kids back then i mean most of the classic nick shows came out before the PG 13 rating came out and some kids shows back then could have had some swearing in them but not used in a mean way like it's usually used these days.

I agree. I'm twenty-one, and I remember Clarissa Explains It All, Roundhouse, Ahh! Real Monsters, Welcome Freshmen, Nick Arcade, HEY DUDE (ONE YOU LEFT OFF THE LIST), and What Would You Do?... All great shows, but Nickelodeon doesn't hold a candle to anything these days, I'll certainly spread the word. Take it easy, and I'll friend you on MySpace... or FaceBook if you are on there.
