Ever wonder how Gradius would play out as a text game (remember Zork?) Here's a fake game I made up with Photoshop to show how a text version of Gradius would or wouldn't work. It's been pointed out that true text adventures don't have the C: prompt - that comes from a long span of not playing text games, and creating this video with pure DOS and Photoshop.

my video response has a similar text based game except you can play it rather than imagine playing it. Its a text based space based game and its fun!!

This is badass. I love Text Adventures, and I love Gradius, but I never thought of mixing them. Very well done!
