is Stolar really to blame??, when he annonced the Saturn was going to be discontined. it was already dead so... besides i reckon the suits in Japan were the ones to make that decision. they also discontinued the Mega Drive.

i concur

Virtua Fighter, Daytona USA, and Panzer Dragoon were launch titles. Virtua Fighter came bundled with the system at launch. Do some research, guys.

I'm not sure I understand the point you trying to make. We made a joke about a poor selection of games at launch, and mentioned many great games that were avaiale for the Saturn. ~Gooch

Sigh The point is you said you guys mentioned there were "no killer launch titles for the Saturn" (about 1:20), only to then say "lets talk about some of the big titles that came out for Saturn AFTER the system was released" (1:25). You go on to mention Virtua Fighter, Daytona USA, and also Panzer Dragoon among these great tiles released after the system came out, when in fact, ALL 3 of those were launch titles, and the system itself was bundled with Virtua Fighter at launch. Look it up.

You are correct, I understand the point you are trying to make. however Sega's early surprise launch backfired and many of the games orignially promised to be avalible at launch weren't, with the exception of those mentioned in your posts above. All of those are great games, but I'm not sure if I'd call any one in particular a "killer-app." ~Gooch

Haha, that's exactly what I thought! Didn't the Genesis come out in 1987 and Sonic the Hedgehog followed 4 years later in 1991?! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm very sure that my good self and "edotsuki333" are both on that right track here!

You both are very correct. However, when I correct DB, I never stated that Sonic was a launch game for the genesis, only that both kicked ass on the Genesis. In our actual Genesis video we discuss how Sonic came after the Genesis launch and replaced Alex Kidd as the new Sega Mascot. ~Gooch
