I think it is a family line too...look at the different dates (New Year's 1938/58? hard to tell for sure, prom 1998, graduation 1988), also the different clothing styles. And I think the older guy dies at the end...he sees the star and his head drops down. Thoughts?

i'm assuming you mean a mixer to EQ it?? no effect, just put it on the rhythm pickup and take the tone all the way down. having a nice amp setup doesn't hurt either.
