Oh I've no problem with anyone who plays the guitar- my boyfriend plays the guitar. I just simply hate it that good music is being constantly being replaced with things that are "new" and "cooler". Imitation may be the greatest form of flattery, but I'd prefer that people write their own original lyrics.

My parents said years ago they went to a concert of his, and were looking foreward to hearing this song. Only, Charlie Daniels had broken his arm, and couldn't play his fiddle. They had to use a replacement.
Needless to say, they were sad. T_T

I like both personaly...I respect that this is a classic, and the original, but I guess as a guitarist Im doomed to be biased. I guess that the verey fact that this song has ben covered in so many different genres prooves how good it is?
