well nothingness sounds better to me than eternal burning, and that's what i expect, i would prefer eternal bliss. however, i wont throw away logic to live a life of misplaced hope.

Haha, absolutely spot on!!
It just shows how absurd the virtue of belief really is when rationally considered.
I never did quite understand why "BELIEF" was considered such a glorious virtue in the Christian faith, rather than, say "BEING A GOOD PERSON."
Now I realise it's a method for religion to sustain itself, as a meme. And when considered, the implications are absolutely absurd!
Great parody! Now I'm off to watch the Christian responses. yet more comedy? lol

I agree .. religion is a man made creation.. and it does encourage bad thing (sometimes closed minds) However the derivitave of what I believe in (inlcuding religion) is When Jesus told his disciples to follow and build God's church... But man cant do everythin right.. Funnily that idea "evolved" into religion how we know it today.. i g2g iv got my next lesson lol i may not reply for a little whiles

A few negative things? Religion has had its time and, to an extent, was probably necessary for the evolution of our society.
However it is now unnecessary outside of personal comfiture.
I personally think religion (not a belief in god) is a very dangerous thing as it encourages closed minds. I would not like to ban religion as some say but I would like everyone to become educated enough to see the nonsense that is integral to religion.

I think disproving a belief by showing it is erroneous is sometimes confused with disproving there is a god.
A theistic belief is set in black and white, of whichever variant form they have chosen. It is because it is written down we can then pull it apart.
Deism is different as it doesn't allude to be anything in particular.
And then you have the various other ism's that you can latch onto if you see fit.
I see no harm in deism (or the other ism's) as that is solely personal.

You are one of the only athiests that actually know what you are talking about ( i mean Athiesm)However just like many religious people give bad impressions of religion.. there are many Athiests who give a bad impression on Atheism... They make out that they disprove the existance of God... which is not (as you rightfully said) true...
Its so hard for each side to show their true side to the argument without being confused with what point of view a person is coming from..

yep i agree.. funny how an atheist just stereotypes a few negative things they have seen in Christianity yet they dont even know what they are talking about.. Any wa why do atheist act all proud when hey try to prove there isnt a God but then make or watch childish videos like this one...and some how they think its clever.?

If it turns out I'm wrong and god does exist, when I die I'm going to call him a dickhead right to his invisible face. I'd also like to point out to people who don't seem to grasp the intent of the video that there are many more to the right of it that may give you a keener insight to overall theme of Edward's videos. You're the man Edward. Funny and spot on as always.
