BackThis is one of the original trailers for the movie FRIED GREEN TOMATOES. This trailer appeared on a video promoting the sale of the movie to video retailers. The comments on this clip are "pending approval." I will NOT approve anything that I know to be incorrect and that includes comments that suggest that Idgie and Ruth are not a "couple." In interviews, DVD commentaries, documentaries and, most importantly, the original book by Fannie Flagg it is made quite clear that Idgie Threadgoode and Ruth Jamison are in a loving and romantic relationship.
