One of my all time favorite scenes. Emmet Ray plays guitar for Hattie, from the movie 'Sweet and Lowdown'. The look on Hattie's face, as she is taken over by emotion, hearing Emmet play for the first time, is priceless.

I wouldn't say Sean Penn at his best, nor Woody at his best, and it's not Django playing. It's a decent movie, but definitely not Woody's best.

this is so wonderful to me!! I am a huge fan of this type of music since I saw this movie-the soundtrack for this movie is great. also now a big Django Reinhardt fan now!
