Anyone still caught up in the oasis/blur rivalry is retarded. The whole thing was manufactured to make both more popular, and both bands have since praised the other band several times, with Oasis claiming that Blur was brilliant compared to the newer british bands.

Yeah, but it's still hard to understand what the Gallagher (sp?) bros are saying when they try to talk. Is that even English? And they come off so smug and arrogant in the interviews I've seen with them. Rivalry or not, I still prefer Blur. Oasis did have some very good songs, though many of them sounded like they were written immediately after listening to a bunch of Beetles records back to back and trying to replicate the sound.
